Our little monkey has been climbing out of the crib for awhile now, so we figured we might as well move him to a big boy bed and hopefully avoid any injuries resulting from a crib escapes. So we bit the bullet and got bunkbeds in anticipation of two kids sharing a room in the future. It was a little rough on Nathaniel and us the first couple of nights, but he's doing great now! (The childproof door knob cover on the inside of his door really helps too.)

You're so lucky he didn't figure out the door knob covers! We tried two different kinds with Gabe and he had them worked out in less than 5 minutes each. Luckily though, he is a "rules" kid so he didn't get up much. We'll be bunkbedding it someday, too. :)
I am so excited that you have 2 new posts! This picture is so cute. What a big boy he is. It makes him look so big. Where do you plan on putting the baby? Are you going to put Grace in with Nathaniel?
I LOVE those door knob covers. When my kids were first in big beds, it helped me sleep better knowing they weren't going to find their way into the front yard or play in the bathroom while they were supposed to be sleeping.
